It’s hard to deny how beautiful Jenni is. When we captured her wedding just over one year ago, I wasn’t sure I’d ever seen a more effortlessly gorgeous bride. When she contacted me to do a boudoir session in honor of her one year anniversary with David, I was so excited. We decided to create a 60′s sex kitten vibe with her hair and makeup and the transformation was incredible. She’s as sweet as she is seductive with her big blue eyes and red lips. This look was created by one of our favorite make up artists, Meghan Oliberos, who continually amazes me with her talent. I hope you enjoy this small selection of images from our shoot…it’s definitely one of my favorite boudoir sessions to date!

JENNIFER & KHEANG – PITTSBORO, NC

Evan and I were lucky enough to fly to North Carolina last month to capture Jennifer & Kheang’s gorgeous wedding at Fearrington Village. The farm is expansive and has a rich southern feel to it. It was the perfect backdrop for their elegant affair. Jennifer was one of those brides who literally didn’t stop smiling throughout the day. She is a sweet soul who found her perfect match in Kheang. Their wedding was a spectacular event and we feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with them. I hope these images show you just how in love these two are!

I am so excited to share this watercolor themed bridal shoot created by Chesney of All the Flutter . I love all the details and how fun this would be for a real wedding. With vintage glass bottles taking center stage underneath a sea of red & pink carnations, this is one of the most colorful creations I’ve seen. Complete with a watercolor themed cake, brought to us by the lovely ladies at Baked, with perfect little flowers painted on! The day wouldn’t have been possible without some help from Camille over at The Dress Theory...our favorite bridal boutique in town. Anyone looking for a wedding dress should definitely check out her shop! I am personally in love with our bride’s makeup and hair…those lilac eyes are gorgeous, and the flowers in her hair are such a great alternative to a veil. Meghann Oliberos was the creative genius behind each model’s look and has been a long time favorite of ours for both bridal & fashion makeup. We finished the day at Discovery Park and were pleased to find the sun shinning. I hope this shoot encourages you to break out of the norm and try something new and exciting for your own wedding….it was certainly inspiring for us to shoot!

Photographing Regina & Kenneth’s engagement session was absolutely amazing. These two are incredibly sweet and made exploring Ballard & Golden Gardens so much fun. What makes this couple so special to photograph is the ease at which they interact. They were quick to laugh with each other but enjoyed quiet moments as well. It’s so obvious how in love they are and we cannot wait for their wedding!

I am so excited to share Shauna & Dane’s wedding with you! One of my favorite things about this couple is how they simply couldn’t stop smiling all day. Their bright & cheery color palette was perfect with the lush green backdrop of Sanders Estate. Shauna’s lovely flowers were done by Rachel at Finch & Thistle, one of our favorite event designers. This gorgeous couple’s day was filled with sweet moments and lots of laughter. It was truly one of the happiest weddings we’ve had the pleasure of shooting and we wish them all the best!

I knew from the moment I met with Danielle & Alex that I wanted to work with them. Sometimes everything just clicks and I was so excited to receive the call that we’d be capturing this special time for them. Their engagement session was as fun as I’d expected it to be and I was pretty impressed by their ability to not look as cold as they actually were…because it was freezing by the water! I am so in love with these images of my dear friend Sarah. As I’ve been settling in to our new studio space, I’ve been overwhelmed with bookings for boudoir sessions. This was one of the first ones I shot there and I feel lucky I’m able to share these with you. Sarah is one of the sweetest people you’ll meet and she’s absolutely beautiful-as you can see! Evan and I will be shooting her wedding this year and I know her fiance will be thrilled to receive these as part of his wedding day gift. Emily & Daniel are hands down one of our favorite couples ever. They’re the type of people you’re drawn too and instantly feel comfortable around. They don’t hold back in front of the camera and I think that’s why I love working with them so much. Emily & Daniel tied the knot at her parent’s home and were off to their reception at Novelty Hill Januik. Dancing, dancing, and more dancing…these two and their guests just kept going. It was such a fun reception and a great evening celebrating Emily & Daniel!

kelly & christopher – indianapolis, IN

This wedding is very dear to my heart. My gorgeous cousin Kelly was married this fall in Indianapolis, and we had the pleasure of returning to my home state to shoot her wedding. After meeting Christopher I was even more excited to capture this special time for Kelly. Christopher (aka DJ.OhBeOne) is an amazing DJ in Indianapolis and Kelly owns a hair salon…so I knew their wedding would be pretty cool. They’re the perfect couple and & I hope that you can feel the love between these two when viewing their images.
