We’ve been waiting to do this post…and are so pleased to finally share it with you! This couple is one of our favorites…meet Kendra & Alfonzo. They were married at Sodo Park and we had a blast shooting this gorgeous bride. Kendra was radiant and we love her non-stop smile. Alfonzo and Kendra are such kind and genuine people and they were surrounded by friends and family that clearly love and cherish them as well. This was the second to last wedding we shot in 2010 and I was 8.5 months pregnant. We were blessed to not only have such a great couple, but we also had our good friend Tonhya of Tonhya Kae Photography help us shoot and I couldn’t have done it without her. We cannot express how much we enjoyed this couple and wedding…a huge thank you to them for being so great to work with and of course congratulations on their marriage!
Meet Nicole & Chad. This gorgeous couple had their engagement session in Ballard and at the Washington Park Arboretum. They’re so sweet and stylish and I really love the shot of them at King’s Hardware. They’re getting married in June and we can’t wait for their wedding. We hope you enjoy this post as much as we enjoyed shooting for it!
We are so very proud to announce the birth of our son Eli Thomas Carlyle! Eli was born on Tuesday December 28, 2010…and I have to say, it’s the greatest experience Evan and I have ever had. His entry to this world was through an unplanned c-section, but other than that…everything has been picture perfect. I am recovering well, and honestly am just on cloud nine with each little movement he makes. Eli was 6.5 lbs and 20.5 inches long born at 6:21 in the morning. We are truly in love with this little man and are trying not to overload him with the camera just yet…but it’s been hard to hold back. This may be one of the most photographed babies around. These photos are from his first five days of life and we hope you enjoy this peek into our world of Eli. Check back soon for updates on our little angel.
Yay! We’ve been waiting anxiously for this to be published so we could share these photos with you. NonPareil Magazine is an online publication that features event designs that are sure to make any bride go crazy with ideas! Evan and I had the pleasure of shooting this for our favorite event designer Rachel from Finch and Thistle. Rachel is beyond amazing and I absolutely love the table she created. A personal favorite of mine is the burlap runner that says ”Mr. and Mrs.” what a great idea! You may also notice the incredible dresses featured…all courtesy of our friend- the talented Chrissy of Wai-Ching clothing. Chrissy creates some of the most unique and eye catching dresses around…and I am particularly partial to her designs since she designed my wedding dress. The day wouldn’t have been complete without our fabulous make-up artist Teryl Hawk- who we send all our Seattle bride’s to. Finally, a big thank you goes out to our model Kara…it was absolutely freezing during our shoot and she looks stunning despite how cold it was. Enjoy this post…we are so excited to share it with you!
