week 33

Progress. This photo was actually taken a few weeks ago, during week 30, and I’m just now getting around to posting it. As of today, we’re officially starting week 33.  Ange is as beautiful as ever and making pregnancy seem like a breeze!  Just a few more weeks to go!

Susan - ANGELA, this is beautiful~!!! Baby E.C. will appreciate this so much when he’s older =)
I can’t wait til you enter 3rd trimester… and then onto D-DAY when you start gettin’ them contractions!!! It’ll be exciting and overwhelming at the same time ~ try to appreciate the moment if you can :) Do you have an mp3 player system or iPhone or iPad? Make sure you bring a music player with you to the hospital. I labored and delivered with the music playing non-stop (via Pandora on my iPad). It helped a LOT!!

Aubree - Your Mom is right. You are beautiful! Embrace it, you might not feel so hot right now, but you will look back on this picture one day and think, “I really was a Pretty Prego, I should’ve enjoyed it more!” :)

mom - finally……..I’ve been waiting for this. Ange: you are a beautiful “lady in waiting”.

Jenni Olson - Beautiful!

annelise & collin – seattle, wa

Meet Annelise & Collin…seriously two of the sweetest people you could ever meet.  Annelise booked us while living in New York and we met only about a month before their wedding.  We knew right away at our first meeting that Annelise was going to be a stunning bride.  She is simply gorgeous inside and out.  Annelise & Collin were wed at Bethany Presbyterian Church on Queen Anne and had their reception at Shilshole Bay Beach Club.  It was a beautiful day filled with love and laughter and we feel so fortunate to have captured it.

JIll Owen - I am Annelise’s mother, and I have never before seen her look so beautiful. You did a great job and we appreciate your talent and efforts. Plus Angela is the most calm person we could have wanted on that very emotional day!

Aubree - Beautiful pictures! I love her dress and the decorating too!

laura & majid – cannon beach, or

We had the pleasure of shooting this engagement session at Cannon Beach.  It was my first time visiting and I was blown away by how gorgeous it is.  Laura & Majid live in Portland and we had a great weekend away with this couple.  Cannon Beach is filled with sweet shops and adorable beach houses…and not to mention my new favorite saltwater taffy store!  We’ll definitely be going back & am grateful to Laura & Majid for showing us around Portland and Cannon Beach!

Laura - Thanks Angela and Evan! The pictures look amazing. We had a such a wonderful time with you and look forward to seeing you both and Rachel (Finch & Thistle) in May!

Finch & Thistle - Beautiful as always! Looking forward to working with this lovely couple :)

Susan & Elliot – seattle, wa

I am so pleased to have captured this special time for Susan and Elliot.  Evan and I have had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session, wedding, and now maternity photos.  It is probably one of the best things about being in photography…capturing special, once in a lifetime  moments.  Being 8 months pregnant myself, I was blown away when I saw Susan get out of her car.  She is simply radiant…and at this time, was only a few weeks from her due date.  Since then, Susan has given birth to a precious little girl and I can’t wait to meet their bundle of joy.  I’ve never seen a more beautiful belly and am so happy for Susan and Elliot!

kirsten & mike – seattle, wa

Kirsten & Mike’s wedding was such a blast and we feel so lucky to have captured it.  The wedding was at Holy Rosary in West Seattle followed by their reception at one of our favorite venues: Sodo Park by Herban Feast.  Kirsten was a gorgeous bride and did an amazing job styling their wedding…as you can see, all the details fit perfectly.  I especially loved the apothecary jars, vintage window picture frame,  and card catalog.  Kirsten and Mike’s day was filled with both tradition- from their Catholic ceremony, to unique touches that made it all their own.  Instead of a wedding cake, they had a Kransekage, a traditional Norwegian dessert along side several varieties of pies from High 5 Pie- so delicious!  Mike’s love for music was ever-present as The Band’s The Last Waltz played throughout the reception.  Great music, incredible food, and the love of family and friends made their day an incredible celebration.  Enjoy these images and congrats again to the happy couple!

angela & evan, kirsten & mike | Finch and Thistle - [...] The details from this recent wedding at Sodo Park are absolutely divine and matched only by Angela and Evan’s gorgeous photography.  See the rest of the pictures here.  [...]

Kip - My eyes just exploded. Thanks.

mom - The long shot of the sanctuary during the ceremony is stunning! And what a genuinely radiant bride and contented groom. What a lovely day.

Finch & Thistle - I love this! Brides everywhere take note – details are everything!
